Life's Too Short

Posted by Sylvia Perreira on Monday, July 23, 2012,

October 4, 2009 Under: Inner Thoughts

If you could do it over again would you? Things happen for a reason in my life. But I would not change anything that was needed for me to grow into who I am. Even today I continue to grow learning more things about myself and who I am. I no longer run from those who would try to suppress me in any way or form. I find myself standing my ground in what I believe in. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of anything and I can openly say I don't have to ...

Taking Risk

Posted by Sylvia Perreira on Monday, July 23, 2012,

It is True that one can not make another like them as You like them! It is also so sad that we allow our human emotions control our fear of rejection. That we would believe what that person says; only to have them change their mind. That's when  reality sets in to make you realize it must have just been a dream. It's just better to believe it was not meant to be to avoid the pain. With life being SO SHORT time is just wasted just to avoid the pain of Rejection. All that is left is for you to ...

Legend of the Heart

(Poetry Contest entry: April 2012 ~~~ to be published by World Poetry Movement in "Stars In Our Hearts")

He came to me in a dream with no face to be seen. His built was tall, lean, and sleek, with broad shoulders to embrace me. Yet he hovered over me like an Angel.

He who stands to my side; why are you here? He who sings melodies in my ear; where are we going? We fly over the mountains and oceans seeking a glimpse of Peace and Harmony.

Yet we continue to see more cruelty, senseless h...

The End of A New Beinging

Posted by Sylvia Perreira on Monday, July 23, 2012,

As mankind continues to destroy this planet of species, land, water and air we consumers are asked to make the difference on our own. Making small adjustments of our usage, start small gardens as our sources of food will soon be low. As the scientist continue to search for ways of our survival in space, under the oceans and underground. Mankind has not learned fast enough to make the corrections needed to survive. Our so called Movies of the end and the new beginning are upon us in a Realty w...

Two Kinds of Suffering

October 19 ~ new day new you ~ Joyce Meyer

October 19 ~ Bedside Blessings

Love is patient, love is kind...I Corinthians 13:4...~ To love and to be loved is the bedrock of our existence. But love must also flex and adapt. Rigid love is not true love. It is veiled manipulation, a conditional time bomb that explodes when frustrated. Genuine love willingly waits! It isn't pushy or demanding. While it has its limits, its boundaries are far-reaching. It

neither clutches nor clings. Real love is not shortsighted, selfish, or insensitive. I...

"Grace"

Posted by Sylvia Perreira on Sunday, August 28, 2011,
Some would tell u they had a feeling of warmth surrounding them like arms hugging them. That they feel at peace just sitting & viewing the skies or their surroundings. How would u discribe "Grace" for your situation? For me it is seeing my ancestors and how they dealt with daily life. How our land and oceans were abundant with life for the "Hawai'ian" people. How simple happiness came from just singing, dancing, sports and gatherings of family and friends. Sliding down a mud slide on T-leafs ...

The Growth of a KILLER?

Posted by Sylvia Perreira on Saturday, July 2, 2011,

In criminal law physiology it is written that most start off young killing and torching animals. Is 10 to 11 years old too, too young to start? They inhale their surroundings and the treatment of life they are allowed to grow with. When these kids brag they will take a scissors and cut your throat like they did the chicken hen do you believe them? When they tell the adult to her face NO the hen is in the back yard Do You Believe them? When they are asked did you take another hen from the fron...

Question - Mankind

Posted by Sylvia Perreira on Tuesday, September 21, 2010,
Why do we, mankind take so long to get it? Why do we continue to fight with each other just because we can't agree with each others views? It would be so much easier just to get the task done if only we could just say: "I don't have to agree with you but we must find a medium to get it done".  So simple but made so hard to do by mankind. We need to go back to listening to the voices of truth by babes. The youth are so simple and truthful that it is so amazing! Just say it out loud for all to ...

Faith things will turn around for the best for everyone is very hard to believe when things continue to seem to get worse. Children are heaven sent! They are the most honest creatures on the planet. Ask them a question and you can expect a truely honest response whole heartedly. They may be fooled some of the time but never all of the time. They trust their instincts and can read adults pretty well. Children are our blessings and must continue to be protected against all evils that surround them dail...

"Time"

We humans think we have so much time left in this world. Little do we understand the "Lord's" plan to pick us at anytime to return home. I'm tired of trying at times but I keep a trucking. "Believe"; I may be in love but my heart belongs to "God". May I be worthy at my time! This is only my opion.

Everyone hopes to make their dreams come true with all its' glory. We all work hard at making the ends meet and meaningful. We go to school or seminars to learn all the tools in making the goals work out. But the bottom line is merely we get it only if we look at how bad do we want it. We the individuals either accept and learn how to change it or reject the failures and start over again.

Yes finances play a big part in the succes of the plan to make it. But again it comes down to how bad do y...

Many people do not believe animals feel anything. However, when a dog hangs on to life to see her master one more time before she dies that tells me she feels alot. Loving has no boundaries for animals or people. The love of an animal is only different because their love is unconditional. They will accept their master with all of their faults and go to long lengths to please them.

It is truly sad that people can not learn from our fury companions of this planet. May be we could live together ...

We would swim all day into the night and come out of the water all wrinkled.
