Looking Good

Hell, this takes so much work and time for people who really continue to work at it. But I guess if you really want to enjoy the fruits of this work out it is necessary to tolerate. If you let yourself go too long you must pay the price to feel and look good again.

Can't cry over spilt milk at this stage of the game. I'll just have to suck it up and make due. Good food flows in Hawai'i all over the place. I have to work extra hard at keeping my hands to myself at times because I love our foods here.

But like everythingelse in life if you want it bad enough; go for it!

Laughter

Laughter is a great tool to heal anything going wrong in your life. When things seem to be getting to me I enjoy watching Americas Favorite Videos or a funny movie like the "Shaggy Dog". I like when things just fall into place when you least expect it.

There are times when the laughter just seems to jump into the day when something goes array. There's nothing like it when I just start laughting at the simplest thing that seems funny. A child finger painting and getting it on other things rath...

Making It

Everyone hopes to make their dreams come true with all its' glory. We all work hard at making the ends meet and meaningful. We go to school or seminars to learn all the tools in making the goals work out. But the bottom line is merely we get it only if we look at how bad do we want it. We the individuals either accept and learn how to change it or reject the failures and start over again.

Loved Ones

Many people do not believe animals feel anything. However, when a dog hangs on to life to see her master one more time before she dies that tells me she feels alot. Loving has no boundaries for animals or people. The love of an animal is only different because their love is unconditional. They will accept their master with all of their faults and go to long lengths to please them.

It is truly sad that people can not learn from our fury companions of this planet. May be we could live together ...

The Ocean

October 8, 2009

Watching the water off of the Makapu point this morning reminded me of my childhood days of camping. We had a great time catching white crab and cooking them over the fire. We would swim all day into the night and come out of the water all wrinkled. The water shimmered under the rising sun this morning showing off its' beautiful colors of dark and light greens and blues that looked like glass.

Waterfalls

October 6, 2009
With the rain we had yesterday in Hawai'i; I had the best view of several waterfalls on the "Ko'olau" mountain range. The Valley of the Temples back range had three alone. Gushing down the slopes into the river below they were spectacular.

What beautiful white water flowing like clouds down the slopes. Watching them develope in slow motion was ausome also.
They start off from the top appearing like thin lines. Then build in the middle of their flow wider and wider until it becomes a full blast ...

Life's Too Short

If you could do it over again would you? Things happen for a reason in my life. But I would not change anything that was needed for me to grow into who I am. Even today I continue to grow learning more things about myself and who I am. I no longer run from those who would try to surpress me in any way or form.  I find myself standing my ground in what I believe in. Everyone is entiltled to their own opiones of anything and I can openly say I don't have to agree with it and I am ok with that.

I have lived all my life in Hawai'i and love it here. I was in the restaurant business for 45 years from management to administration. I have done several poems and short stories within the last few years. I am currently working on doing some craft work with my "Coffee Club Girls". I was also helping out with my friends in our Shave Ice Shop until the end of July 2009. We will be doing craft fairs and football little league games shortly.
